<div style="margin:0px;line-height:normal" class="">Eine stetig wachsende Gruppe von österreichischen Einrichtungen entdeckt Koha als Alternative zu kommerziellen Angeboten. Mittlerweile weltweit in tausenden Bibliotheken aller Art verbreitet, kommt Koha von
kleinen öffentlichen Büchereien bis hin zu großen Universitäten zum Einsatz.</div>

<div style="margin:0px;line-height:normal" class="">Ihren Ursprung nahm Koha 1999 in Neuseeland, wo Joann Ransom von Anfang an maßgeblich an der Entwicklung der Software beteiligt war. Als ehemalige CEO des Horowhenua Library Trust besucht sie nun Koha-AnwenderInnen
und InteressentInnen weltweit um über Koha, die Community und ihre persönlichen Erfahrungen in Neuseeland zu berichten. Ihre Vortragsreise macht am 14. September in Wien halt.</div>
